Wet & Wild Water Adventure Program

Whether you are a seasoned adventurer or a first-time river explorer, we hope you are ready to get wet and create lasting memories during this weeklong adventure based at Camp Sinoquipe. Scouts will travel to the area's waterways such as the Shenandoah, Potomac and Yough rivers for white water rafting, tubing, paddling and kayaking in the majestic mountains and valleys of Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania. Scouts will take a break from getting wet by experiencing a day of ultimate aerial adventures on a course that features more than 100 high ropes COPE challenges and several zipline canopy tours. 

WET & WILD WATER FEE: $875.00 YOUTH or ADULT (includes regular camp fee)

SAVE $75 IF REGISTERED AND PAID IN FULL BEFORE JANUARY 15, 2025

SAMPLE SCHEDULE: (subject to change)

  • Sunday
    • arrive/check-in at Camp Sinoquipe with your Troop
    • complete medical and swim checks
  • Monday
    • Guided white water rafting trip in 4-6 person rafts on the Shenandoah River with class 1-3 rapids is a great way to begin your week-long river rafting experience.  
  • Tuesday
    • Guide assisted white water trip in single person inflatable kayaks on the Potomac River provides a bit more challenge and excitement as you paddle your own craft through the class 1-3 rapids over a 5-7 mile excursion down river. 
  • Wednesday
    • Take a mid-week break from getting wet and challenge yourself on several aeriel challenge ropes course trails encompassing 4 wooded acres including more than 100 challenges and zip lines with 5 different levels of varying difficulty. 
  • Thursday
    • Guided assisted white water rafting trip in 4-6 person rafts on the Shenandoah River with class 2-3 rapids over 5-7 miles. 
  • Friday
    • Guide assisted white water trip in 4-6 person inflatable rafts on the Lower Yough river with class 3-4 rapids.
  • Saturday
    • Transport back to Camp Sinoquipe to check out with your Troop

ADVENTURE PROGRAM DETAILS:

  • Space is very limited - reserve your space by January 15th
  • Open to all Scouts age 13+ at the time of summer camp and registered adult leaders
  • The Wet & Wild Water adventure program is based out of Camp Sinoquipe in Fort Littleton PA
  • Transportation from base camp at Sinoquipe to all adventure program activities during the session is included
  • Participants will be housed with their Troop or a Provisional troop in the typical 2-person canvas wall tents with a cot
  • All meals and adventure program equipment are provided during the session
  • All participants are required to have a BSA Medical form parts A,B & C
